Poverty, homelessness, loneliness. These are terms that have been with us for at least the past several centuries. The problem has increased in the past several decades; at least since the 1970s. It is a major explosive problem now, again, as it was in the depression and immediate post depression 1930s.
These shots were taken on North Michigan Avenue, Chicago's Magnificent Mile studded with high-end stores, and just west where the riche live. It hurts me deeply to see such suffering.
