We arrived in Pagosa Springs along with huge rains. Got rained on for our first two days, including a significant downpour during a hike. That was really a mess. Slogging in the mountains on narrow paths mixed with suddenly forming streams is no joy. But that's another story. The rains bring out lots of wildflowers, so we benefited after all.
