There is a portion of the bike route that I often ride that travels along the Des Plaines river in Des Plaines, Illinois. I have seen many migratory birds in this lush section an have seen a blue heron as well as other large wading birds. On this day the sunlight was perfect, getting lower and providing wonderful reflections in this slow portion of the river. I took three shots to make this panorama (Panorama Maker and my Lumix camera which was resting on the bike path railing).
